"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation leaning this way or that way, I simply desire it straight, impartial and fair," he declares.

Upon being questioned whether he considers the BBC is structurally prejudiced, he replies: "Absolutely not. It is important to note, a great deal the British Broadcasting Corporation produces is top-tier - including factual and fictional shows."

However, he continues: "There is real work that needs to be done at the BBC."

The second previous consultant BBC adviser questioned by the group, Caroline Daniel, says she regards the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it has a "continuous process and vigorous discourse" on fluid and multifaceted subjects.

"Did the BBC prepared to engage in a genuine dialogue and debate and take action?" she asks herself. "In my view, yes they were."
