Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Local celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Los Angeles residents packing downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.

The procession path concluded at the stadium, where the players emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and the artist driving a light blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.

Festivities started prior to the parade, with supporters lighting flares in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on the previous evening.
The World Series MVP, named the MVP of the championship, spoke directly about the victory.

In contrast, the team owner was met with a less warm reception at the celebration. Recordings from the gathering appear to show Walter walking onstage to a combination of cheers and boos, with negative shouts punctuating his address.

“I feel like it’s almost double from last year,” he remarked. “These fans are crazy. It’s truly amazing to be a involved in this.”
